DESCRIPTION
BUTTERFLY brings the warmth of walnut or white oak into conversation with hand-cast glass. A long glass seat rests on paired timber supports, each accented by a butterfly-shaped glass detail. The contrast between wood grain and translucent texture gives the bench a tactile richness, with sculptural details that reward a closer look.

DESIGN & CRAFTSMANSHIP
Designed and fabricated by Christison Lewis Inc., with each glass component hand-cast in our California studio. Our signature “Chill Texture” forms as molten glass cools against a steel mold, giving the surface its distinctive character. Subtle variations in color and texture are inherent to the casting process.
In our standard clear soda-lime glass, the thickness and mass of the material reveal delicate golden to green tones.
