DESCRIPTION
SHIRINDA explores the simple relationship between a circle and a cylinder. A substantial round top rests on a broad glass pedestal, allowing light to move through the entire composition. Hand-cast texture lends depth to its restrained geometry, creating an intimate gathering place with a strong material presence.

DESIGN & CRAFTSMANSHIP
Designed and fabricated by Christison Lewis Inc., with each glass component hand-cast in our California studio. Our signature “Chill Texture” forms as molten glass cools against a steel mold, giving the surface its distinctive character. Subtle variations in color and texture are inherent to the casting process.
In our standard clear soda-lime glass, the thickness and mass of the material reveal delicate golden to green tones.
